Achiba 50 EC – Systemic Herbicide

Achiba 50 EC – Systemic Herbicide

Systemic herbicide with high efficacy for the control of annual and perennial grass weeds in post-emergence applications.

Achiba 50 EC is a selective post-emergence herbicide with a broad spectrum of action for controlling annual and perennial grass (monocot) weeds.

Active substance: Quizalofop-P-ethyl 50 g/L

Formulation: Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC)

Packaging: 5 L

Mode of Action

Achiba 50 EC is rapidly absorbed through the leaves of weeds and translocated to the roots, where it inhibits the synthesis of essential fatty acids. This process stops growth, causes yellowing, and ultimately leads to weed destruction.

The first symptoms appear a few days after application and are manifested by the easy pulling of the central leaf from the growth cone, which turns a characteristic yellow color. The formulation also contains an adjuvant that enhances the absorption of the active substance.
